Should Canada Cease to be a Monarchy? TDS volunteers presented an introduction to debating seminar accompanied by a demo debate: "Prostitutes should be unionized." Toastmasters were then encouraged to participate in a series of mini-debates.

JDC Central 2010 business competition Michelle Warren (TDS Past President) joined a panel of judges to evaluate a three-day undergraduate debating competition at the Ted Rogers School of Management at Ryerson University as part of the 2010 JDC Central business competition.

Heather Bakken (TDS Education Executive) guest starred in a season six episode of "Kenny vs. Spenny" to determine which of the two debated the best. True to form of this coarse reality tv series, the debate took place during the challenge: 'Who can keep his head in a chicken coop the longest?'"

Should Canada Cease to be a Monarchy? TDS volunteers presented two separate debating workshops to Phoenix Toastmasters. We debated, "Public speaking should be mandatory in high school," and later, "Prostitutes should be unionized." Toastmasters were then encouraged to participate in a series of mini-debates.
